Opis
Zine Club Warszawa comes to Bielany for a special workshop! Kasprowicza 14 is teaming up with Warsaw’s monthly crafting-and-conversation social event to bring the residents of Bielany a special workshop dedicated to learning about and making recipe zines.
Zines (pronounced ‘zeen’ or ‘zajn’) are small, hand-made, do-it-yourself publications that can be made on any subject its creator desires - it is truly a form without masters. Recipe zines have long been an artistic tool of sharing culinary knowledge, culture, and tasty treats.
In this workshop participants will be given a tutorial on how to make a minizine, with which we will share favorite recipes, stories behind their creation, and recollections of moments over food. Additionally, previously-published recipe zines will also be free to take away, and we’ll have food from those recipe zines available as snacks! Each participant will come away with a handmade minizine made by themselves, and maybe even a new favorite food, or a friend or two!
Whether you’ve only heard about the zine phenomenon, or have significant experience creating self-published works, you are invited to come and enjoy an evening of self-discovery, sharing and socializing in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Snack Zone happens on Thursday 26 March from 5-8 pm! Come hungry and ready to create!
